The Legend Homes Builder Warranty

Each Legend Homes customer receives a Builder Warranty service plan at no additional costupon closing on their home. Available within one year after closing, this warranty is offered and serviced by and throughthe Legend Homes Customer Care team, meaning the plan isn't outsourced to a third-party company.

Our Builder Warranty is designed to make sure that your house is functioning as intended. This means that if you see any installation errors, quality concerns, or have mechanical issues with your HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, we'll send someone out to take a look and get it fixed or replaced.

The Builder Warranty is broken down into two components: one year and two. Here's how it works:

  • One Year:We'll fix any installation errors or quality issues within one year of the purchase of your new home in accordance with the Construction Performance Standards under the Texas Association of Home Builder Guidelines.
  • Two Years:This systems distribution warranty covers any defects found in your home's plumbing or electrical systems located behind the walls as well as your home's A/C ducting systems.

What is a Structural Foundation Warranty?

Everyone who purchases a Legend home also receives a Structural Foundation Warranty through2-10 Home Buyers Warranty (2-10 HBW). This insurance-backed structural warranty is offered through 2-10 HBW, the industry's leading provider. 

Plans like the 2-10 HBW confirm our commitment to protecting you. Even better, structural warranties help you settle into homeownership with added peace of mind. 

Every 2-10 HBW includes the following coverage:

  • Ten full years of structural-defect coverage for load-bearing components
  • Two full years of distribution systems surety coverage against defects in wiring for your electrical system, piping for your plumbing, and ductwork for your mechanical system
  • One full year of surety coverage against defects in workmanship and materials
